Assistant Property Manager Job Description:

Proficient in Yardi, Outlook 7, and Bluemoon
Work closely with property manager to provide amazing customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, etc
Participate in resident activities and marketing of community
Perform apartment community accounting functions such as collecting and posting rent
Prepare accounting records and reports daily, weekly, monthly
File evictions/writs of possession if needed
Assist property manager in supervising and training leasing personnel
Show and lease apartments as needed, complete lease and application paperwork, including credit and criminal background checks

Requirements for Assistant Property Manager:

Must have at least 2 years of apartment industry experience
Need to have professional appearance & demeanor

Responsibilities:

Maintain community’s appearance: walk the community on a frequent basis and removing litter.

Keep common areas (pool, laundry room, dumpster, and recreation areas) free of debris.

Rake, sweep, & shovel, safely operate small hand tools and mechanical equipment such as blowers.

Perform power washing, paint curbs, maintain light fixtures throughout the property as needed.

Perform all other apartment maintenance duties as assigned.

MUST be able to pass a criminal background check

Be able to Pass a drug test
